Lola and the Boy Next Door

I have to say that I like Anna and the French Kiss way more than this book. I still really enjoyed this book. I still couldn’t put it down and I liked the love story a lot but I find Anna was a lot better.

I actually don’t have much to say about this book because I find it a lot like Anna in the writing style. Which makes sense because same author, companion novel to Anna and the French Kiss, and somewhat of the same story line. Stephanie develops good characters with back stories. You have a sense of knowing who these characters are throughout her novels.

I definitely recommend this book. I say read Anna and the French Kiss first as there are a couple characters that make appearances in Lola and it’s nice to know who they are before hand. I plan on buying Isla and the Happily Ever After to complete this “trilogy” of companion novels and I expect it to be just as good as these two books have been.
