Breakable (Easy, book 2)

It’s hard to say which book I liked better. This one is just as good as the first one, Easy, but I think I actually liked Breakable better. I like Landon/Lucas’s perspective. I like how both times in his life were available for us to read. I felt he was a lot more emotional than Jacqueline in Easy, even though she had some emotional things happen to her.

Again, the writing is really good. You feel every emotion that is portrayed in this book. You get to see each side of Landon/Lucas and the different person that he has become. I think this is a really good book for anyone to read. There is a bit of swearing and some sexual contact but not enough to call home about. The meaning is what it’s all about anyways.

He was lost and alone. Then he found her. And the future seemed more fragile than ever.

As a child, Landon Lucas Maxfield believed his life was perfect and looked forward to a future filled with promise - until tragedy tore his family apart and made him doubt everything he ever believed.

All he wanted was to leave the past behind. When he met Jacqueline Wallace, his desire to be everything she needed came so easy…

As easy as it could be for a man who learned that the soul is breakable and that everything you hoped for could be ripped away in a heartbeat.
