One More Chance (Book 2)

Just like the last book, I liked this one as well.. Can’t say I hated it but I can’t say I loved it. It was alright. I think I liked Take a Chance a bit more than this one though. It had more sexy times in it… Anyways, Harlow was still the same. She couldn’t make up her mind whether she could trust Grant or not. Grant was still the same hot-headed boy in love with Harlow trying everything in his power to get her back.

It was just a continuation of the last book and it concluded their story. Same characters and a bit more of their stories. A couple of the chapters had been in other character’s perspectives which was nice to see their point of view. It ended nice which I liked. It made me feel good inside. Made me feel like what I read the last two books made it worth while. I would still recommend this book, but like I said in the last review for Take a Chance it is a New Adult and has some mature scenes in it so if that is your cup of tea then you should enjoy this book just read Take a Chance first.

Grant Carter did everything in his power to convince Harlow Manning that he was a good guy. More than a smooth-talker and someone she could trust. He had to overcome his reputation as a playboy, and his history with Harlow's half-sister, Nan, a woman with a reputation of her own.

Harlow had taken the chance, falling hard and fast for the guy who thrilled her with his all-consuming desire. After a lifetime of avoiding bad boys like Grant, she had opened herself to the possibilities of love...

But a life-changing secret has torn them apart, and now Grant and Harlow must decide if they have enough fight to make it work - or if the pain of betrayal has permanently destroyed their future.
