Review: Peep Show by Isabella Starlng

*ARC was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.

Peep Show is nothing like I thought it was going to be. From the synopsis, to the teasers the author was giving us, I thought this book was just going to be about two people living across the street from each other, showing their privates to one another. Not that that’s a bad thing, because I was all for that, but the author, Isabella Starling, delivered us so much more. I’m so impressed with what I read, I’m still reeling from the emotional rollercoaster I just endured.

This book is so much more than just a sexy peep show. This book is about being vulnerable, opening yourself up to people who love and care about you. Letting yourself trust others, because not everyone is out to get you. There are people who are going through similar issues that may just understand what you’re going through yourself. Love, trust and self-awareness are main points to follow in any relationship. You need to love yourself, trust yourself and your partner and being self-aware of the good qualities that you bring to the table. Don’t focus on the negative, because that’s going to get you anywhere.

I love everything about this book. From the cover, the title, to the beautiful damaged characters. Miles Reilly and Bebe Hall are two unique people. They each have demons they are trying to cover up, they are two people who are trying to forget their past but don’t know how. Together, they are an unstoppable pair, who could tear the world down with their force.

I would go into this book blind. You will be pleasantly surprised by Peep Show and this author. This book definitely isn’t your fairy tale romance. There is strong references to drugs, abuse and strong sexual content throughout, but the storyline is truly unbelievable. And not unbelievable in the sense that it’s an unlikely story, I just mean it’s unbelievable in the sense that it’s amazing to see these authors branching out into strong storylines that are so unexpected. So much more than you thought it was going to be.

I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for something sexy, hot as hell and totally swoon worthy all at the same time. Isabella Starling outdid herself with Peep Show and everyone should read this book. Everyone meaning, people over the age of eighteen, since this book is not suitable for young readers.

Voyeur, noun
A person who gains pleasure from watching others naked.

My name is Miles Reilly. I'm a photographer. An agoraphobic. A womanizer. I'm confined to my apartment. I don't leave. Ever.
Her name is Bebe Hall. She's a heartbreaker. She's the it girl of the moment, a party girl nobody can stop in her path of self-destruction.
Bebe Hall isn't just the star of her own story. She's the star of mine, too.
Our story begins when she sees me pressing a naked girl against the window of my penthouse apartment.
But it really kicks off when Bebe shows me just how dirty she is.
Because she doesn't look away. Oh, no.
Bebe wants a peep show.
And I'm going to give her something worth watching.

USA Today bestselling author Isabella Starling presents a new dark contemporary standalone romance.
