There’s one thing I’ve come to really love about Sam Mariano’s books and it’s her strong characters. The personalities she creates for certain characters is what makes her books. Of course, she has amazing storylines, but when you have strong characters to back up the whole story, it really sets the pace.
When I first started Sam Mariano’s Morelli Family series, I was blown away by all of the strong characters that had unique personalities. In Stitches, there are three main people. Sebastian, Griff and Moira. These three characters are very different from each other, but complement one another so well. Sebastian is a leader. He knows what he wants, and he gets it every time. He’s hard-working, a hard lover and one hell of a good friend.
Griff is slightly less dominant than Sebastian, but it works in their favour. There can only be one Alpha, and Griff is not it. But, he is loving, caring and will do anything you need to make you happy. Moira, is a great wife, a loyal, trusting woman who only aims to please the people she loves.
Now, when I first read the synopsis for this book and knew it was a menage romance, I was all for it. I love a good love triangle, I love a good risky read. A hot MFM novel? Sign me up! I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading Stitches and it wasn’t what I was expecting. It is way better than what I thought it was going to be about. It’s a unique twist on sharing. Sharing is caring right?
I’ve read other MFM books before, and I love them. But, Stitches is different and is now one of my favourite menage books I’ve read. It has everything from a fantastic, unique storyline, obviously great string characters, and gives your all the feelings. I was thrown through a loop while reading this book. I felt happy, sad, mad, scared and hot as hell. Sam Mariano definitely knows how to write amazing sex scenes. Sensual and also wild as ever. I would suggest not reading this book in public, save it for at home.
Now, that Sam Mariano has become a new favourite author, I cannot wait to see what else she comes out with. I highly recommend Stitches if you like kinky, sexy books and Sam’s Morelli Family Series if you like dark, suspenseful romances. Like Sam Mariano’s other books, this is not suitable for young readers. No one under the age of eighteen should read this book.
