This is the second book to Torn. It still follows the same characters Drake and Chloe and continues on right where the first left off. Chloe’s mother had dropped in on them with news and scheme’s and Chloe had to go with her to her Aunt’s house. Drake is just starting his tour with the band, hoping to get signed by someone big. A lot of drama goes on. Old flames are introduced and causing problems for both Drake and Chloe and of course, her mother is the root of all her problems as well.
I found this second book kind of dragged on. Not a whole lot, but I think there was too much unnecessary drama — or too much of it if you will. I still really liked the writing. It’s descriptive and simple at the same time. Very easy to follow, even with all the drama going on. I knew exactly what was happening and to whom.
There’s not much else I can say about this book without giving away any major details. The same characters are in it, plus we are introduced to a few new ones. There is a couple other books in this Torn series, but after this one they follow different people within these two stories. I’m not opposed to reading those ones even though Drake and Chloe are done. It should be interesting to see some other point of views. I would still recommend this book if you want to finish Drake and Chloe’s story. It’s a nice ending to their crazy relationship.
